Families should be considerate of all life factors before adopting a puppy. They take a lot of time, attention, and patience. The first few months, you will need to create a safe environment for your puppy. This includes puuting up gates where needed, putting away small objects that can be eaten, and putting out some food and water.
Once your puppy is home, be sure to make a vet appointment for the next set of needed shots. (Should take place around 12 weeks old) It is also a good idea to start taking him/her to puppy training classes! Doodles are very smart dogs, and should be easily trainable.
